About Sam
Sam Whitfield is an independent games reviewer who writes about PC games and fan made game projects. His work on this site has one job: to keep official releases and unofficial adaptations clearly separated, so a reader never mistakes a fan project for a Valve release.
Sam plays Dota 2 on PC and follows the MOBA scene closely. He checks claims about the fan project against public information about the real game, and he does not present rumours as facts. When something is unverified, the article says so.
How Sam Works on This Site
Because this is an information site, Sam does not test, host, or hand out any mobile game file. His checks are editorial: is the claim about the fan project accurate, is the distinction from the official game stated plainly, and would a new reader understand exactly what is and is not on offer here? If an article fails any of those checks, it is rewritten before publication.
